Building a Bee: Starting the process off was long discussions with Larry of Gallery Hardwoods. I have been a long time fan of Larry's Acrylize process, my fretless 6 string has a acrylized fingerboard. He had been working on processing full tops and tried a body. Well, he ran the idea of Acrylizing everything but the body core (to save a little weight) past Fred and I... we both knew it crazy enough to work and then some.
After a little 3 way email conversation, I had my theme set. Larry picked out some woods and set off to start prepairing it all.
So we had the plan... we had the mock up... GO!
